Austmont, conceived, owned and operated for 31 years by Don Petroff and Peter Rau, both with combined 90 years of industry experience and knowledge, since retired and today owned by the Dunbrae Group, it employs over 50 staff, made up of highly skilled and dedicated metal fabricators, project managers, sales consultants, hospitality professionals and administration staff.

Austmont design and estimating team have a combined over 130 years’ experience in the design, fabrication, installation and supply of commercial kitchen equipment. It employs five qualified ex-chefs and many former food service industry professionals so as to keep our team passionate about the industry and to ensure that the right advice is coming from the experience of knowhow because we have been ‘in their shoes’.
